I agree that searching on the Touch with just the IR remote is really cumbersome and one really to use the combination of the remote and the touch screen to search with any efficiency. I don't have an iPhone or iTouch so I have never had the chance to use your iPeng plugin, which if what I've read here on the forums is true, is quite a first rate plugin. Another third party "plugin" (plugin is in quotes because it's really not a true plugin) which belongs somewhere around 1 or 2 is Moose. Like the web ui it requires that one have a computer on hand but it is much, much faster than the web ui and quite a bit more flexible. I haven't been using Moose as much as I used to since I've gotten a Touch which, like Moose or the web iu, provides a nice graphic interface.
