A friend just bought an SB Tocu after my glowing review but is having real dificulties getting it to connect to mysqueezebox.com to get the firmware to even get the thing up and running. His laptop is connected to the internet via a mobile internet dongle. Should it still work with an ethernet cable plugged from the laptop to the SB Touch? I did see a post somewhere saying there was a way around this if you didn't have a network but I cannot find it at the moment. Is it possible to get around this without the SB Touch connecting to the internet? Could the files be downloaded onto the laptop and transferred? I'm guessing that may be a bit tricky even if it is possible.
