I'd be inclined to uninstall 7.6 and use 7.5.2 You didn't mention your network setip. If you are using a wireless router and modem then unplug the power from your Touch, modem and router and leave it unplugged for a minute or so. Then reconnect the power and go through the setup process again. See if that helps.
