Here's the test I'm initiating:
1. Plugged my SB Touch to my UPS; the weather here is rather stormy
these days, and I don't want my test being spoiled by a little power
outage
2. Powered the Touch on; the system clock got updated correctly
3. Connected to the Touch and updated the RTC from the system clock
4. Disconnected the Touch from my network (so that it won't get any
chance to get the system clock updated until the test completes)
5. Connected a USB disk holding a backup of my whole music library to
the Touch, and launched a Random Song mix (in the hope that keeping the
system busy playing music will accentuate the clock drift)

Next step later this week:
6. Shut my local SBS instances and Internet connection down (to make
sure the Touch won't get a correct clock source when connected back to
my network)
7. Connect the Touch to my network
8. Check how both clocks behaved, and report back here

If the RTC appears to be reliable, I'll try to implement the fix I've
talked about.
