There is no easy way to do this. Theoretically you can edit the server.prefs file, but this doesn't work. The code that mounts a USB drive or SD card edits the server.prefs file and puts the root of the drive in there.
I don't remember where this code is and how difficult it would be to modify. I'm not where I can check it out right now. I did spend quite a bit of time (several weeks) looking into this a month or so ago and did not come up with a solution that could be implemented easily.
