I recently moved my touch to my bedroom, and noticed an odd behavior.
The automatic brightness control stops working when the light is
completely off in the room. Instead of staying at a very low level, the
display jumps back to 50% (approximate guess) for no apparent reason.

I set the "minimum brightness" to 0%, since I want it to be as dim as
possible. When there's very little light in the room (ie, just one
bedside lamp), it actually works pretty well. But when the light is
completely off, I can see it actually getting brighter gradually.

If I put my hands over it (have to try it a few times since I don't
know where the sensor is), it will get darker. but as soon as I remove
my hand, it will gradually go back up.

So I end up put a cloth over it. With the cloth over it, it actually
goes down to the lowest level and stays there..

It's not obvious to me what the bug is. Is it receiving part of its own
reflection at night? Even if it does, it doesn't explain the behavior.

Did Logitech engineer test this in a completely dark room? ;)
