In addition to that, rather than infer conclusions based on my finite (and limited) set of observations regarding Touch/Transporter/DAC/cdp sound-quality, I think you should consider what type of person are you in this regard: Extremely picky on details? Could you learn to live with the knowledge that "better" exists? How often do you get the urge to upgrade? Do you spend a lot of time reading gadget-forums/reviews/news (this correlates to the previous)? Etc. The point is that the Transporter locks you into one integrated fixed streamer/DAC-system more than the Touch - where you, from an finanicial pov, may maintain greater freedom in choosing a preffered DAC, if needed at all.
