How did wrong bits get in here? I'm talking about some ultrasonic noise
getting into the analog circuits of the system and through IMD causing
some audible effects. It has NOTHING WAHATSOEVER to do with changing
bits. 

In a DAC such noise might affect a clock circuit or a digital output
transmitter, but again it wouldn't change bits, just timing
relationships between bits. Non of these affects are anywhere near
large enough to actually change bits.
