The server does not need to be on 24/7/365 . You don listen to music 24/7 ? let it hibernate and use WOL or turn it off completely and boot the thing with WOL "wake on lan" .
I do that , push a button on one player directly when coming home , hanging off my coat rummage around with my stuff and then a couple of minutes later the server is up ?
