I currently have my Touch wired. I had my entire house wired before I moved in.
My wife was so impressed with the Touch, she wants one in the kitchen. That's the only place not wired! Where we intend to put the second Touch is only about 3 meters from where my router is behind a plasterboard wall. I do get excellent wireless signals around the whole house though. I'll try wireless which I think will work great but, if not, I'll get a good friend who is an electrician to cable up that area. He was the one who wired my house.
