One does not have to be running conduit in the walls. IMHO, any time
there is no plaster/drywall, run the current high end CAT-n cable.
Today, that is CAT6.

The difference in pricing for 1000 feet of CAT6 vs slower 5 or 5e is
about $10 out of $100. Its trivial, even against the cost of the jacks
and wall plates.

Wired Ethernet is always better and faster and more reliable than any
kind of wireless.
