This is a general problem that has been around for a while; I see this with my controller but also in the web interface. I am not a Touch owner myself, but during development a lot of work was made to the Tiny server; switches to disable functionality etc... And I do not think that you can run just any app/plugin, but not sure what the rules are.... I am sure that other Touch owners will chime in oh yes the replaygain feature; I have to look into this myself.
