Very nice review, and entertainingly written. Just a few factual nits to
pick, in the order they appear in the review:

1. The SB2 was released in 2005 (see
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Hardware_comparison), so you
probably bought it then, and not in 2004.

2. Re "all playback formats" being gapless, for MP3 doesn't this still
depend on which encoder was used (ie, LAME newer than some recent
version)?

3. The Touch has not been available in the US for 12 months. Something
more like 6 months (see same link as #1 above). It was _announced_ 12
months ago, but then took a long time to finish the software. See all
the griping that took place in this forum from Sept 2009 to April 2010
if you don't believe me ;o)

4. fwiw, I can read the screen from 3m away _if_ it is on the larger
fonts, which it automatically does when you use the remote. And my eyes
aren't particularly sharp. YMMV etc.

5. Actually the Touch _does_ publish its USB or SD library on the
network. It is necessary to enable Samba and file sharing, and
sometimes it helps to note the obscure sharename, but it's there. Or
are you only saying you can't transfer files directly from iPeng?

6. In several places you refer to running SBS on a PC/Mac. I don't know
about Oz, but in North America most people think PC=Windows. It would be
good to be clearer that SBS is available for Linux PCs as well.

But all in all a good review, and I completely agree with the main
points about the pros and cons.
