Ha, yeah, right on. Recently, I spent some time A/B switching between two identically cabled SB3s. One fed a Lavry, the other a MHDT Havana (both into the same amp). The audible differences were impossibly small. Having said, I'm a great believer in DACs revealing their true personalities over extended listening periods (many weeks!). But yes, the internal DAC in the Touch is very good and certainly the first I could happily listen to without the urge to slap an external DAC into the hifi chain. -- johnnydarko www.digitalaudioreview.com.au ------------------------------------------------------------------------ johnnydarko's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39987 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82593 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
