Uhm, kinda off track here... :) remember I was asking for a "numpties huide" to getting SoX to upsample my Flacs as it wasn;t working :) I dont REALLY want (or are able to) write my own plugin lol
ok I'll rephrase. After having added teh custom.convert file....I was checking "more info" on my Touch to check the Flac info to see if had been converted at file level as I would have expected. According to the Touch it was teh same 16/44 flac file - no evidence of upsampling haveing too place. (My dac has no visual indicator of the file it is playing) So... how do I double check if the file has been upsampled on the Touch/server please? I posted this in the "beginners" forum at first, but there was no response there, thats why I moved it here.
