My server is a Win XP machine.
If it doesn't work for you at first try, the problem is more likely the PC than the SB device. At least in windows, there are a couple of settings that need to be changed. Check in the Wiki, it explains it. It also says the PC needs to have a wired network connection for it to work. I don't know if that is still true or not, but mine is indeed wired.
