Further review of albums loaded in indicates that not all of them result in the extra songs duplication in the playlist, and that when they do duplicate, all of them, including the last one, are duplicated.
(Remember, I am just beginning to experiment with this equipment and have only loaded down about 6 cd's so far.) I do have the volume set to 100 on the Touch. I am ripping the cds using Dbpoweramp and creating wav files. I do not have any playlists previously created. I have simply been using the squeezebox software to pick the albums and then saving the list on the HP.
