What do you mean with "placebo effect" in this case? Maybe you need a more resolving system, but I can hear clearly the differences despite they are subtible, or something is wrong with my SBT. Try it randomized with closed eyes while somebody switching between these two mods; perhaps you will check this effect by yourself.
