Do the FLAC files show up in your SB library but won't play? They are
located under your specified music folder and you have scanned the
library after adding the files? This may or may not be obvious, it
depends on anyone's newbieness :)

Have you tried Winamp on your computer? That plays FLAC files. If you
manage to play the downloaded FLAC files in Winamp, download Exact
Audio Copy (EAC) and copy a CD ("rip" or extract) as FLAC and see if
that plays on the Touch.

If no luck with your own FLACs, consider re-installing SBS. If then
still no luck, it's time to start looking at log files and such.

If your own FLACs play, the downloaded files may need to be re-encoded.
We'll see.
