Can you see them if you use "browse music folder" go the "music folder" option instead of artist album or new music and go the folder that hold the files.
Note that "new music" menu don't work the way you might think it sort files after the changed date , if you did not change tags or did some work on the files they might be "older" than whats already in the new music section.
