Father Christmas presented me with a Toshiba STOR.E Art 500GB USB 2.0 P/N HDDR500E4ER drive and I thought I'd give it a go with my Touch (even though I am getting on very well with it via my computer running Squeezeserver). However there appears to be a fair bit of clutter on the drive and I recall people on here mention in passing that such clutter can be removed. I'd appreciate it greatly if anyone can advise on keeping / getting rid of all or some of the following: A Toshiba folder containing sub folders labelled: 'Launcher' (full of xml files), 'Manual' (I've copied the pdf), 'McAfee' (which I don't require), 'NTI' and finally a folder called 'Wild Tangent' which appears to contain language files. There is also an autorun.inf file and a start.cmd file. Can I safely sweep this all away and should I format the drive before using it? Help for an ignorant novice will be much appreciated.
