Thanks for the replies. The noise is still there even if its 100% volume or 0%. My plan is to get an amp soon and some decent speakers, just wanted to confirm if the headphone jack was of rather poor quality. But a temporary solution of a Y plug for my Sennheisers won't work? 3.5mm split to RCA Male, then use the RCA outputs on the Touch.
