I don't claim to understand Linux at all, but the fix appears to be to force the Linux machine to run at 100Mbit/s rather than Gigabit, and optionally to try half duplex instead of full duplex - did I understand those commands correctly? Is that a difference you noted between your Windows and Linux setups - ie was the Windows setup forcing 100Mbit/s by default. Do you have a theory for how this can affect sound quality? According to the specification page for the Touch, it's wired ethernet 'connects to any 100 Mbps or 10 Mbps network' - no mention of Gigabit - so wouldn't a Linux box end up talking to the Touch at 100Mbps anyway? -- chill ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=84742 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
