I have resolved this issue by using a 15 foot pair of RCA interconnect cables between the Touch and my Preamp. This allows me to use the Touch (as a touch screen device) at my listening position. I can also use my Blackberry to access the Squeezebox server wirelessly, but I prefer using the Touch directly.
