I've been having problems with my touch since upgrading server software and player firmware.
I've got set up to send the magic packet and wake up my computer running squeezebox server. The problem is that the player turns on fine, but I can't navigate through my music. The spinning loading icon just sits there and spins, and I can't get away from that screen using back. I know it's connecting though, because I can hit now playing and resume whatever I was listening to before shutting it off. And I can move backward and forward in that list. I can also find music through search. Any ideas? Other annoying problems. The server software will suddenly not be able to start. It says there's a port conflict with something, even though nothing is being changed on my computer. Uninstalling and reinstalling the server software is the only way I've been able to get back up and running. Buffering has always been a problem since buying the touch. It'll play a few songs, then start bufferring. Not always, sometimes it doesn't do it at all. It might buffer once then be fine. Other times it will buffer, play 2 seconds of music, buffer, play 2 seconds over and over. I never had this problem with my SB3 which is now in the basement and still working fine. The touch is seriously testing my patience. It's like it wants to get thrown against a wall. Up until the recent updates for the players and the server, the only issue I had was the buffering. I don't know what I was on before going to 7.5.3. Any help will be much appreciated.
