I'm not sure that you're reading it right either :-) . What I am suggesting is that the failure/reluctance of the Touch to make an ethernet connection seems (to me) to be due to an incompatibility between switch and Touch. I am a complete novice in these matters so it may not make sense to more knowledgeable folk. FWIW, an update on my earlier post: - the SQ from Touch now it has an ethernet connection is very good, with no dropouts so far BUT the Touch has reverted to not displaying any 'Now Playing' info, just as before, so not all my problems are over yet. Suggestions, as long as they are polite, are cordially invited.
