Thanks Phil, that is exactly the reply I was hoping for :-). To bring you up to speed I've spent the last few hours listening to the Touch playing FLAC files whilst powered by the two parallel 5v outputs from the linear PSU and fed through a Ripple Eater. In short the SQ id b----y brilliant and a big improvement on the supplied wallwart - and nothing is running even slightly warm :-) . BUT it is still annoying the hell out of me by dropping all 'Playing Now' and cover art info from the display after playing a few tracks - surely it isn't supposed to be like this and surely I'm not the only sufferer - or is it and am I?
