Thanks for confirming it should work. I'm using the full version loaded on my NAS server Synology DS 207+. The only difference between the 16/44 and 24/96 files is that the 16/44 were ripped directly from CD to iTunes whereas the 24/96 came from HDTracks as FLAC and then converted to ALAC using Foobar (I think Foobar just calls iTunesEncode.exe). I want to use iTunes and have all files in ALAC.
The 24/96 ALAC files play fine via Foobar and directly from iTunes. Maybe I'm missing a parameted in the conversion? On the Touch, the tracks are visible and can be played. The timer continues to tick through the whole track but the sound is just a annoying serious of clicks sort of like you were fast forwarding the track - although even less pleasant sounding. I'll try some experiments tonight including using the FLAC track as well as converting to ALAC via a different tool like dppoweramp.
