Does the info vanish from your Touch screen after a while? Could it be a "screen off" screensaver kicking in after a certain length of time?
If the problems deeper than that, I'd suggest switching everything off at teh plug, then reboot in this sequence. Modem / Router / PC Should take care of any network gremlins hopefully?
