My router assigns the DNS Server, HTTPS server etc to a single device, clearly usually the host PC. Presumably the removal of the previous hard drive (failed) caused the router to assign these to the next on the list.
My router is showing the Touch at 192.168.1.82 with a MAC address of 00.04.20.22.77.4d, which is correct. On the Touch, the IP address is shown as 86.139.93.143 with the same MAC address as above.
