Hi Guys, I think I'm going to dump PCs and take up knitting!!! This morning I've removed Norton IS and enabled M/S Security Essentials and everything appeared to go fine BUT .... now my opening page of my e-mail programme opens up but will not function, most of the buttons being frozen - I can open 'Compose Mail' for instance but the 'Send' button is inactive. My mail service is Sky.com FWIW. Meanwhile, back to topic: - I've done a Factory Reset on my Touch and a Clear and Rescan on my library which I'm now waiting to complete. I will not be able to listen to music or do any scans until this evening but I'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, when you suggested that I 'clean up' my music files, I have a vague recollection of seeing a 'Clean Up' button but cannot recall where - can you provide any simple pointers please. I've got mp3Tag installed but not got it working yet, possibly due to not spending much time on working through what I should do - I'll keep trying. Cheers, Dave.
