I am having problems with my Squeezebox Touch and Wake on LAN. I had it working reliably but am now having problems and I dont think Ive changed anything (but something must have changed).
On some occasions (but not always) when I hibernate my server after first powering off the touch (soft power off), the touch turns on with the message Problem Connecting and gives me the choice of connecting to my SBS server or mysqueezebox.com. As it displays the message, it sends a magic packet which wakes up my server and when the SBS server is running the message disappears. As I say this doesnt happen all the time. When I was testing today, it didnt happen on the first two hibernations but after the first two it happens every time. I was using the Server Power Control plugin (v20091031.005505) to suspend my server but I can reproduce the problem by suspending my server from the Linux command line (/usr/sbin/pm-hibernate) without using the plugin. I have no screensaver on when I power off my Touch and cant see why it (sometimes) wants to maintain the connection with my SBS. I also have alarms turned off. This problem started with 7.5.3 and Ive just upgraded to 7.5.4 and I still have the same problem. Ive tried changing the Power On Resume settings from Pause at power off / Remain paused at power on to Stop at power off / Remain stopped at power on but this had no effect. Id really like to get this working reliably. -- coyrls ------------------------------------------------------------------------ coyrls's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44253 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87081
