You might try using the Touch in wireless mode connected to your pre/amp using the buit in dac at least until you get a stand alone dac. I agree it would be best to use a computer to run the Server. You could use a usb hard drive connected to the computer to store music files. This is a simple but very functional set up. Take you time selecting a dac. There are many out there and lots of new ones.
