That scanner.log is showing two errors: There is an error that is known to be caused by the presence of DISCNUMBER tags when none are required. One of the 2 tracks mentioned below has this problem - I can't tell which it is. Please check the tags in MP3Tag and remove any DISCNUMBER tags - they are shown on the Extended Tags panel in MP3Tag. This error occurs quite often in your scanner.log (on different files). You still have this error: [11-04-19 20:34:05.4626] Slim::Music::Import::runScanPostProcessing (429) Starting merge of various artists albums [11-04-19 20:34:21.4638] Slim::Schema::Storage::throw_exception (82) Error: DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Can't create/write to file 'C:\ProgramData\Squeezebox\Cache\MySQL\#sql_1284_0.MYI' (Errcode: 13) [for Statement "SELECT me.id, me.url, me.content_type, me.title, me.titlesort, me.titlesearch, me.album, me.primary_artist, me.tracknum, me.timestamp, me.filesize, me.disc, me.remote, me.audio, me.audio_size, me.audio_offset, me.year, me.secs, me.cover, me.vbr_scale, me.bitrate, me.samplerate, me.samplesize, me.channels, me.block_alignment, me.endian, me.bpm, me.tagversion, me.drm, me.musicmagic_mixable, me.musicbrainz_id, me.lossless, me.lyrics, me.replay_gain, me.replay_peak, me.extid, contributorTracks.role, contributorTracks.contributor, contributorTracks.track FROM tracks me LEFT JOIN contributor_track contributorTracks ON contributorTracks.track = me.id WHERE ( ( contributorTracks.role = ? AND me.album = ? ) ) ORDER BY contributorTracks.track"] ...which is caused by anti-virus software. I can't remember where you got to with removing Norton and installing Microsoft Security Essentials - if MSE is installed, you have to exclude *.MYD and *.MYI files. (I'm sure we've covered this before). Finally, if Random Mix disappears you need to do a full reinstall of SBS - others have reported this (rare) problem. -- Phil Leigh You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
