Thanks for the information concerning TinySBS! I followed your instructions using a USB stick and all was again well - computer off, radio on. BTW, I posted the situation as a bug (17194) on Sunday but it seems to be going nowhere. Also no one has mentioned having my experience of the computer being powered up when prompted to open mysqueezebox. I usually shut the box down at night after backing up the drive and shutting down the computer. The last two mornings when I started the Touch and tried to get on mysqueezebox, as I watched the circle doing its thing my computer (which is upstairs well away from the Touch) was turned on. I leave speculation to others. Again, thanks for the tip and the info. I may just keep that stick in there forever....
