When I get a message that an upgrade to my system is available, I assume the upgrade will improve my system, not break it. I think its fair to expect a company the size of Logitech is able to do some kind of testing before deploying upgrades to customers.
Call me naive, but I expect any and all software upgrades to be of high quality. Otherwise the vendor isn't doing their job IMHO.
