Does your home network have a router? You might check that. Is the SoftSqueeze player on the same machine as the server or a different box? Are you using the router's DHCP for IP assignment? You want consistent use of addresses within your network. I'm a Fedora Core user (which comes with the firewall turned on), so am not familiar with Ubuntu beyond general Linux basics. -- mlsstl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mlsstl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9598 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=88055 _______________________________________________ Touch mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/touch
