Aha, the Touch and the server ARE on different subnets so the discovery
protocol is not going to work. To try and find each other Both the
Touch and the server send out a UDP multicast packet, basically saying
"is anybody out there". This only works if the Touch and the player are
on the same subnet.

There are a couple possibilities:

you have a static IP on the Touch, set to the wrong subnet, higly
unlikely, you have to WORK to do that.

Your new router is still behaving as a router, not a pure AP. This is
the most likely case.

You have a couple options at this point:

figure out how to get that new router to REALLY be an AP (no routing no
NATing).

Skip the auto discovery part and tell the Touch the actual IP address
of the server. There IS a screen on the Touch that will let you type in
the address of the server (it probably calls it a remote library), I
don't remember exactly how to get there, I think its in the My Music
menu. The actual playing music can be on a different subnet, its just
the auto discovery part that needs to be on the same subnet.
