Who talked about WiFi ? My Touch is wired and has always been ...
This is not SBS the culprit, it is the suqeezebox software family.
SBS, TinySBS, Touch firmware.
I read some astonishing comments from developpers in bugzilla, don't
remember which bug, saying something like "if there is a drop in the
stream, the wise option is to stop playing ..." !!!!!!!!!
It was corrected, but how can someone seriously say something like that
?

As I already said, it seems to me that the problem is the following.

- If the stream source is very good, no problem

- If the stream source has some dropouts (it can occur and this is
normal), this is very nicely handled and barely noticeable with all
softwares I tried like foobar, vlc, mediamonkey etc ..., but it is
awful with squeezeboxes products having more than 10 seconds
rebuffering or simply stopping.
