Are you using the official 7.6.0 release or a nightly 7.6.1 build ?
If you are using the nightly 7.6.1 build that could be the problem
because there doesn't seem to be any 7.6.1 firmware directory available
at mysqueezebox.com so it might use firmware it has downloaded in your
old installation.
Try to delete any files in the "updates" directory in the "Cache"
folder and restart SBS and see if that solves it. You will find the
location of the "Cache" folder by looking in SBS Settings/Information.
