i have the same problem w/ 10.6.8 and aiff files. unfortunately, i have ~30k of these files, so i'm not converting them to ALAC. with the previously reported problems w/ WAV files, it seems clear no one at Logitech bothered to test 7.6 on windows w/ WAV, or Mac w/ AIFF.
