Thank you, John, I did as you told, to no avail. It's probably a truly
irrecoverable piece of junk, but if it's only the power conversion chip
that's awry, there may be some hope. A year ago I saved a junk-piece
Receiver, though only partially (It now only works through wired LAN,
not wireless, and can only play music from local PC, can't access radio
stations.) The problem is, the board layout of Touch is much more
refined and compact than those of previous models, so it surely will
cost much more to troubleshoot.
