On your local squeezebox server it is stored in a file called
"server.prefs"
There is no webpage or consumer friendly interface to edit them :-/ a
failure imho.
You can find it in your preference folder for squeezebox server. Where
that folder is depends on wich OS your are using, but search for
"server.prefs" don't forget to include hidden files if on windows .
The location of the prefs folder is spelled out on the info page in
server settings.
This file holds almost all settings for your server and the connected
players.
It's a big text file with rather cryptic content but the presets are in
there and easy to spot.
You can open it with any text editor wordpad would do on windows (or
notepad).
Turn of SBS first btw, if your e going to edit the file .
Player are identified by their Mac-address in the file .
Example .
On my linux server the prefs file is hiding out in the
/var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs directory if i scroll a bit in the file
I find the line
"_client:00:04:20:1e:e6:5d" this is my boom ! mac is printed on the
sticker under the player or can be seen on the info page in
squeezeboxserver .
or your router can tell you. Mac adress is that 00:04:20:XX:XX:XX
number, (all squeezeboxes share the first 6 numbers btw )
The presets for the player is in this format in the file

Note my first preset it is an undocumented feature of sbs i picked up
on the forum preset "1" on my boom starts the "random play" function
You can edit this file and save the changes and then restart the
server.
Ofcourse do a backup copy before fiddling, as the server.prefs hold all
preferences for the server !
As you can see I don't use presets that much it's a mess I usually
picks local files my favorite list or spotify .
