Hi,

I am pretty much a newbie to the squeezebox touch. Despite a few
complications, I really like it, but I find the remote pretty much
sucks as I can't read much and can't see what I'm doing from a few
meters away.

As my set up is all Ethernet based, I have no problem controlling the
Squeezebox from my computer, but I would find it a lot easier and
convenient to be able to control it from a decent remote when my
computer is closed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems no Logitech
remote (even the most advanced and expensive Harmony remotes) can
display artwork except the Duet, but it seems like a lot of money to
pay for a remote that can't do anything else. I wouldn't mind buying a
Harmony remote if it controlled all of my devices AND could display
artwork and control the Squeezebox, but that doesn't seem to be the
case (am I wrong?).

Currently, my Squeezebox is connected through a NAS with internet
access. Therefore, I am wondering if there is any possible way to
control the Squeezebox through an ipod with Internet access. I do have
Internet access, but it is not on the same network as my music. I have
PlugPlayer and the Squeezebox app installed, but have found no way do
this so far. The Squeezebox app merely says "Choose Player" without
providing any options. I know iPeng is very commonly used, but before I
purchase it I was wondering if it, or any other app, was capable of
being accessed from a different network.

Thanks for any help you may provide!
