...and same here. I've not been to the forums in a while as I was busy reorganising my music collection.
Now my touch (connected to mySB at EU west datacentre) has the same issue - it regularly and abruptly disconnects, followed by a reconnect in which it is renamed as 'nil'. At this point menu items are often missing. For info, I have static IPs for my devices and a rock-solid fibre connection giving 35MB downstream.
