You are right, aubuti. 

winSCP and Samba - thanks for telling me what it is in the Touch - are
more convenient for everyday transferring. I have successfully done
both. I noted that when I transferred files, internet radio would stop
shortly - not much resources left for radio to use, I guess. My Music
cannot be used either. It is better to start this task while not
listening to music.

For XP to show the Touch in my network places, one needs to add the
Touch manually. The only way I succeeded is to input like this \\Touch
IP (not Touch name or server's name)\media-sda1. Now I have the touch
server in my network places when it is on.
