True, but it's unlikely I'll ever use the switcher again so no big deal. Obviously I saved it for a backup. Also, I had no connector's on hand and having the ferrite core on the stock cable can't hurt. One of my SB3's had the old style switcher with no ferrite core. It was with great pleasure that I chopped that cable up for the mod. I even added a ferrite core from an old spare VGA monitor cable I did have on hand.
