I recently played flac files off a usb stick (1st time - I normally run SBS, but I'd taken the player somewhere else) and the player wouldn't see a bunch of flacs on the stick.
I created a folder on the USB stick called "My Music", dragged the files into that, and, lo and behold, TinySC was happy with that and scanned and played the files.
