My laptop and my wife's laptop are in the same room as the mini and have no problems. At this time, I can't put the mini in the same room as the SBT (in the lving room is the SBT, the stereo, Cable modem and router). I don't have a monitor with HDMI inut in the Living room,so I can't try connecting it via internet. The mini is on a shelf in the cabinet with my HDTV, maybe I'll move it to the top and see if that improves things.
