I had a similar issue a few months ago that started when my son came home for Thanksgiving. Several times a day all wireless devices in our household would lose internet access. Rebooting the router restored access until the next time; typically a matter of a few hours later. I tried changing wireless channels to no avail. Interestingly, when my son left after a few days the problem went away! I could only conclude that it was related to his Android smartphone since it was the only new device introduced to our environment during his stay. I have a typical "dumb" phone and my wife has a Blackberry neither of which present the same problem.
Just curious, do you live in an apartment?
